Hello everyone! I started this blog almost two years ago. And it's been a quite a ride since then. Many things have happened and I feel I've grown and learned few lessons. This blog has done its part and I'm very thankful for it. But time has come for a change. I will be closing this blog ( I will not delete it so anyone can still browse through it), but I will not stop blogging so stay tuned for some surprises. Have a New Year filled with lots of joy, creativity, inspiration and fulfilled dreams! :)

My second Handmade Fair

Heya guys! So I've made it through my second Handmade Fair. There was a good response to my stuff especially from the kids - they are amazing in their comments and joy :) I feel that every time I'm learning something new and making new friends. Looking forward to the next one on the 12th Nov - next Friday! :D Now pics!

And so I've made it to my first Handmade Fair! It was a very interesting experience - some lessons, some new ideas, some really nice and talented people and really good friends! Thanks everyone who supported me and everyone who stopped by and took time to check out my stuff. :)

Handmade Fair

This is the first time that I'm participating at the Handmade Fair and boy, am I excited. :) Hope too see many familiar faces today. See you! :)

Here is my first attempt at henna art. i've been asked to do it for a lady that was getting married the next day. It took one and a half hours and it wasn't easy since henna takes some practice to get used with applying it. In the end she was happy and that made me happy :)

Character Design with Stephen Silver

I've recently started a course on Schoolism - Character Design with Stephen Silver. He's a really cool guy and accomplished character designer with self-published books and shows as "Kim Possible", "Danny Phantom" and Kevin Smith's "Clerks" the animated series under his belt.
This is our first assignment -Jerry Loomy - used car salesman boss. So far, I'm loving the course, especially since we get one to one feedback on our work.

Ive decided to help this blog help me. Im going to focus more on concepts on top of my normal doodles and stuff - nothing fancy, just more doodles. It's an exercise of trying to change my thinking routine. Here's the first one, appropriately named 'Looking Forward'. Don't you start keepin track now! :)

Ive submitted this design to Threadless Havianas Contest but it got rejected. It's the first time one of my designs gets rejected but it's a lesson for dumb yours truly and whoever wants to submit designs to contests - read the conditions and know what you can and cannot do! My design was on full t-shirt, but you could only do that in one color. Now I know.
